Many cities and hotels change and develop constantly. We have no control over building work, but we will do our best to tell you about any specific work going on at your accommodation, if there is time before you go on holiday. Please do bear in mind however that it is extremely difficult to foresee the extent, nature and effect of any such activity at a particular time.
If you encounter difficulties while on holiday it is essential to first take the matter up locally, and contact our USA help desk (see client documentation). If you do not do this, it may affect your legal rights and may reduce or even extinguish any compensation which you may be entitled to receive. If problem remains unsolved please notify our Customer Relations Department within 28 days of return. If this proves unsatisfactory the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators and ABTA have devised a simple, inexpensive system of arbitration on documents alone with restricted liability for costs. This does not apply to claims over £5,000 per person or £25,000 per booking or those which are for physical injury or illness or the consequences of same.
